  Love the ribs, the Sunday roast and the fish and chips, really good food, have eaten there several times and never failed to impress. The bar next door is friendly and cosy

  Went here for dinner Sunday 29/7/18. Starter and main course was ok but the dessert was awful. Very slow serving and waitress came back to us after 10 minutes of initial order to ask again what we had ordered.

  We had a booking at Caffreys today for a table of eight.... While the food was of excellent quality, I have to say the service was of a very low standard.. I had five adults and three children in my party and we were left waiting over an hour to be served and when we finally got served they brought out two adult meals and after I complained again ten minutes later they brought out the children's meals and the rest of the adult meals. The waiting staff were apologetic and said that they had another large party of forty to attend to as their excuse... The most annoying part though was after I had paid the bill I was approached by a man who didn't identify himself and asked me if the food was good... When I said the food was lovely but the waiting was excessive etc.. He rudely cut me off and said "we had a party of forty and this was explained to you" (after I had complained after forty five minutes) and basically dismissed me like a teacher to a bold child.... I can only assume this man was the manager/owner... As if the service being extremely poor wasn't bad enough, this mans attitude was the icing on the cake. Extremely rude and arrogant. I would definitely not recommend this restaurant to anyone.....

  Called in for coffee,a beautiful pub with character. Friendly staff and coffee very nice. Definitely recommend.
